Spiritual Guidance
Religious and spiritual guidance form an integral part of student life. As a school based on the ideals of Christianity, our day begins with a short, but lively devotion, fondly called ‘Morning devotion’ by staff and students at the Assembly hall. This service is conducted in English from Monday to Thursday while Friday service is done in Mizo. Besides our morning devotions, sermon class is carried out in the last two periods of every last Friday of each month. Gospel crusades, salvation campaigns and retreats are also organized from time to time although there is no fixed time table for these. The staff evening prayer also forms an important part of every Thursday after class.
The School has a Counselling room that students can avail of whenever they need spiritual guidance. A student simply informs the teachers of his or her needs and arrangements are made at the first convenient time for a counselling session. These matters are the responsibility of the Devotion Sub-Committee set up by the school. The present Sub-Committee members are:
Chairman : Mr. Lalthanzama
