INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY

In 1995, Six Computers and two sets of Dot Matrix printers were installed by the North Eastern council under NEC project in computer education in schools. At present, the school computer room is well-equipped with 27 modern computers along with internet facilities.

Library and Canteen

The school has a library and a canteen both of which the students can visit during their lunch break and other free time.

Laboratories

There are three separate laboratories for Biology, Chemistry and Physics and each of them is equipped with proper and necessary equipment.

MOTTO OF OUR SCHOOL

Like other schools, our school also has a motto right from the beginning. The school motto is ‘Pro-Christi Et Ecclesia’ which is derived from the Latin words. It means ‘For Christ and the Church’.

SHOOL EMBLEM

The current school emblem was designed by Mr. Lalthlengliana, the former Headmaster of this school and it was approved by the Synod Education Board on December 3, 1971. The first emblem was a little bit modified some when and has become the School emblem till today.

The ‘Cross’ in the middle of the school emblem signifies love. Surrounding this cross, the school motto ‘Pro top of the writing, ‘Estd 1962’ is written Encircling the school motto are two Olive branches which are intertwined at outermost loop of the Emblem, Synod Higher Secondary School, Aizawl is written which is the name of the school.
